Here, Giverny’s pond becomes a method: diffused light, unstable surface, drifting reflections.

In my studies, I extract invariants, then translate them into color and gesture.
A total impression, an abstraction with a source.

From water, I look for the shift: the pond becomes sky, organic life becomes constellations. A spellbinding motion, without beginning or end, in the spirit of the Impressionists.
